Outdoor Kitchens
Cooking you’d rather do outside
Grill, serve, and stay at the table. Layouts with real landing space, so the cooking is part of the evening.
Overview
How the space gets used
If you’d rather cook outside than stand in the kitchen, this is the work. We design the layout, the utilities, and the finishes around how you cook and host: grill, prep, serve, and sit when people show up.
We start with how you cook. Built-in gas grills, smokers, power burners, pizza ovens, undercounter refrigerators, ice makers, sinks, and dry storage, each with a place to set things down, venting, and a work order that feels natural when you’re the one at the grill.
Structure and utilities go together. Gas line size, GFCI electrical, chase ways, and water lines with freeze protection get coordinated with licensed trades before stone and cabinets lock you in. Masonry or frame-and-panel is chosen for the exposure and the weight.
Finishes here face sun, rain, and freeze-thaw. We spec sealed granite, quartzite, or porcelain rated for outside; marine-grade stainless; drip edges and joints that keep water out of cabinets and off your knees.
What we pay attention to
- Grill, prep, and serve zones sized for how you actually cook.
- Utilities coordinated with licensed trades for gas, electric, and water before the stone goes on.
- Materials rated for UV, rain, and freeze-thaw.

FAQ
Questions we hear a lot
Plain answers, so you can plan without guessing.
Do I need permits for gas or electrical? +
Many jobs do, depending on the town and the scope. We’ll figure out what applies and bring in licensed trades when we need them.
What materials hold up best outside? +
Things rated for freeze-thaw, sun, and heat next to a grill. We’ll propose options that look right and last out here.
Can you include a pizza oven, smoker, or refrigerator in my layout? +
Yes. We plan the cutouts, venting, power, and heat so each piece has landing space and air. A heavy pizza oven may need a thicker slab. We build that into the base from the start.
What countertop options work for an outdoor kitchen in our climate? +
Sealed granite, some quartzites, exterior-rated porcelain, and sealed concrete are common. We skip materials that stain easily or can’t take the heat next to a grill. The edge detail also keeps water off the cabinets.
